Tonight, the Mavericks defeated the Lakers in a win-all 4-0 series victory in the conference semi-finals. After the much awaited victory of Lakers in the series, it never came. Instead, Lakers was trailed by 36 points. It’s too good to be true, but it really happened.
Jason Terry’s performance was hailed by the whole crowd. With back to back three-pointer, he got 32 points in the game. The big factor was the Laker’s lame game. Even the dunks had missed, and the defense was poor. Mavericks showed us a great game tonight, and an end to the era of LA.
Odom was thrown out for elbow hit on Dirk Nowitzki in the outside defense. It was clearly seen in the replay. Same goes for Andrew Bynum. He did hit JJ Barea with his elbow during a drive lay-up. Phil Jackson wasn’t looking good throughout the game too.
Bryant managed to make 17 points, equal to what Nowitzki has made. Terry’s 9 three-pointer, plus 11 from his teammates were a splendid play for tonight.
The game ended with the final score 122-86.
