After a year of experiencing the pleasure of the original iPad last year, another version of the famous tablet computer will be unveiled and released as early as March 2, 2011. It was the same time of the year Apple unveiled the first iPad.

The launch event will take place at San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. According to some sources, it is still unsure if Apple CEO Steve Jobs will be able to attend the launching event. He was last seen and spotted with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Google CEO Eric Schmidt at a dinner party that President Obama attended.
Some analysts expect that the iPad 2 will be thinner than the original and will have improved display and features. It is also expected to have front-facing camera. Other features will be revealed at the launch event.

After a year or so, iPhone workers that were poisoned said they still feel sick due to the accident. There are about 137 Apple workers that were victim of the exposing to n-hexane. The chemical is a chemical cleaning agent that was used at one of its supplier’s factories in Suzhou, China.

“My legs are always in pain and swelling,” Guo Ruiqiang, one of the victim, said. “I worry my condition will get worse.” he added.
Although the U.S. giant tech company said that “all affected workers have been treated successfully.” But it contradicts to what the statements of two of among the victims said that they still need further treatment but the company said they must resign in order to receive the treatment compensation.
“I’m not satisfied at all with how things have been handled,” another worker, Jia Jing Chuan, said. “We hope Apple will move things forward and do something about this.”
Jia also added that: “The company says if you feel like the symptoms are returning it’s because of your own personal reasons… They said it’s because you have been drinking, or smoking.”
Apple, on the other hand, stated that “we continue to monitor their medical reports until full recuperation. A majority of the 137 workers have returned to employment at the same factory.”

Twitter has proven its effectiveness about informing other parts of the world that want to witness rallies at Egypt, Iran or anywhere. But it won’t be impossible that we will also receive tweets from space, Japan can do that.
Space agency at Japan is considering of sending the talking humanoid robot to International Space Station. Besides tweeting what, it will also serve as an eye to the missions outer space while astronauts are asleep and can even check health and stress levels. The said robot is a collaboration work of University of Tokyo, Dentsu and the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency.
JAXA is planning on sending the robot at about 2013 that will tweet primarily photos and is said to provide astronauts “comfort and companionship.”
“We are thinking in terms of a very human-like robot that would have facial expressions and be able to converse with the astronauts,” Satoshi Sano of JAXA said.
Meanwhile, NASA’s own robonaut called R-2 is set to to a discovery shuttle next week. NASA hopes that soon robonauts can replace astronauts during missions which difficult or dangerous for a human to do. The US$2.5 million R-2 robot is said to have limited activities at the laboratory.
Sano said the agency is thinking of ways for the Japanese version to be more original. Japan, as of now, has no space program of its own, but Japanese astronauts are part space station.

Tomorrow, the one of the most anticipated phone release will happen as Sony
will release what is known over the internet as PlayStation Phone, since Sony did not verify this call. And now, it is less than 24 hours to wait until we know what it look like, how much it will be.
According to PCWorld, it is called “‘Xperia Play’, after Sony Ericsson’s Xperia series of high-end smartphones.” Last Super Bowl ads, Sony gave some gave some teased show in Android phone commercial.
Kaz Hirai, Sony president, said that the phone is from the five core principles: A “revolutionary” user interface, social connectivity, location-awareness, augmented reality, and PlayStation Suite compatibility.
It is reported that the phone will look much of the PSP Go, slide handheld game console, only that it has phone capabilities. Some specifications include 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon (QSD8255) processor running Android 2.3, a pretty competitive 4-inch 854 by 480 pixel Bravia-powered touchscreen, 5.0 megapixel camera, 512MB memory, a microSD slot. It is also said that it will hold PlayStation Suite.
Sony set to give more details tomorrow, 13th of February on Sunday in Barcelona, Spain at Mobile World Congress at at 1:00 PM EST (6:00 PM GMT).
Earlier, Nokia announces tagging up with Microsoft for Windows Phone, Apple is also said to create iPhone Mini at $200 without contract.

Nokia will take a big step as it will team up with Microsoft instead of Symbian and MeeGo confirmed early Friday.
CEO Stephen Elop told that Nokia is like a man standing atop a “burning platform,” with explosions coming referring to Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Android OS. Elop also told that the way to survive the given scenario is to leap into the “freezing water” below. And so, it is the Microsoft with the Windows Phone platform. Although, little information is given to what is called “broad strategic partnership.”
On a blog post of Nokia last February 11, they said, “The partnership increases our scale, which will result in significant benefits for consumers, developers, mobile operators and businesses around the world.”
Details such as Bing powering Nokia’s search services, Microsoft adCenter for the search advertising services, Nokia Maps will now be the center of Microsoft’s mapping services and application is accesible via Microsoft Marketplace are also given on the blog post.
