South Korean Star Park Yong ha comitted suicide

South Korean star Park Yong Ha, one of the most sought after actors in South Korea and a popular singer in Japan, was found dead in his home in Seoul on Wednesday in an apparent suicide, local media reported.

Park’s body was found by his mother with an electrical cord around his neck but there was no suicide note, The Korea Herald quoted police as reporting.

Park, 32, had recently devoted himself to nursing his ailing father who was in the final stages of stomach cancer. He was reported to have been struggling with sleep problems as well.

Paranormal Activity 2- Paranormal Activity 2 Movie Trailer

The movie Paranormal Activity 2 is directed by Tod Kip Williams. But Oren Peli who directed the first film is still attached as producer and he’s quite confident.

The trailer for Paranormal Activity 2 has gone online. Though little is known as to the specific plot at this point, the sequel to 2009′s box office surprise looks to employ the same camcorder technique as the original, but on an already noticeably larger scale. Directed by Kip Williams from a Michael R. Perry script, the sequel will open in theaters on October 22.

The first trailer for Paranormal Activity 2 has been released and it emulates all the suspense of the first movie by showing next to nothing and raising questions.

The minimalist focus of the trailer is exactly what works for it. But when you extend this quiet suspense to 90 minutes (especially after it’s been done once already), the gag can wear off quite fast. It will be interesting to see how the minds behind the sequel keep audiences on their toes – since the gimmick/surprise of the original shouldn’t work again. If it becomes just about the money, we may have a new Saw franchise on our hands.

Paranormal Activity 2 is scheduled to release on October 22nd, 2010.

Benigno Aquino III President Of The Philippines – Inauguration Day 2010 Updates

Benigno Aquino III President Of The Philippines – Inauguartion Day 2010 Updates

Benigno Aquino III was sworn as the official president of the Philippines. Benigno Aquino promises to deliver from poverty and pervasive corruption.

Hundreds of thousands of Filipinos clad in his yellow campaign color, applauded and yelled his nickname “Noynoy” as Aquino took his oath before a Supreme Court justice at the Quirino Grandstand.

Vice President Jejomar Binay was sworn in before Aquino took his oath in the nationally televised ceremonies that resembled a music concert, with celebrity singers and an orchestra belting out nationalist and folk songs. Yellow confetti rained from two helicopters. Benigno Aquino promised to fight corruption, particularly in the notoriously graft-ridden bureaus of customs and internal revenues. He pledged to bring a new era of good governance, reforms and a bureaucracy that will be sensitive to the plight of the common folk.

“Today our dreams start to become a reality,” Aquino said. “It’s the end of a leadership that has long been insensitive to the suffering of the people.”
