The South Park Facebook episode “You Have No Friends” has been quite noticeable, but not because of its sense of humor or comedy, but because it sends out a strong message to everyone that Facebook can take over lives of people, especially those who are fond of using Facebook every now and then.

The lesson in this episode is that, you don’t need people that you don’t know just to have fun; you can have fun by playing with your family and friends, rather playing interactively with people you don’t know. It may sound crazy to us, but we often see teenagers, and adults add friends in Facebook because they want to have more people helping them in playing their games, instead of treating them as true friends. There is also that effect of Facebook wherein people get addicted to the point that they don’t have time to do anything else or don’t do anything else but play apps in Facebook.

I guess this a message from the South Park family that simply says, “Don’t let Facebook ruin your life!” I’m not saying that you shouldn’t use Facebook anymore, but please try to balance your time with your family and friends. Give some time to get out of that computer chair and do something else productive and most especially, don’t replace your boyfriend/girlfriend with Facebook! That’s just irritating you know…
