Authorities end their search for the body of Stacy Peterson today. Sadly, they did not find anything or any evidence about her body. Working on a tip of where Stacy Peterson’s body is, they went to a wooded area near Peoria. The police dug for the remains of Stacy Peterson for one whole day. It was very muddy because it has just rained. They also hired a forensic anthropologist to search for Stacy Peterson’s remains. The anthropologist finally gave up before 6pm.

Stacy Peterson is the fourth ex-wife of ex-Bolingbrook cop Drew Peterson who was missing since October 26, 2007 and Drew is considered a suspect in her disappearance. Drew Peterson is about to stand in a trial for the case of his third ex-wife Kathleen Savio who experienced a drowning death in July. The case was initially ruled an accident but the case reopened after the disappearance of Stacy Peterson.
