ASUS Announces the “Eee Pad” Notebook – ASUS Eee Pad Specs and Models

A lot of electronic companies nowadays are making notebooks. ASUS also made a notebook of their own named “ASUS Eee Pad”.

The ASUS Eee Pad can run up to 10 hours when fully charged. Text entry can be accomplished using either the virtual on-screen keyboard or via an external dock/keyboard hybrid apparatus.

There are two models of the ASUS Eee Pad. The first model is the Eee Pad EP121. It has a 12.1 screen display and features a CULV Core 2 Duo processor and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium. The second model is the Eee Pad 101TC. Instead of using a mainstream offering like Windows 7, the 10″ Eee Pad 101TC uses Windows Embedded Compact 7.

The ASUS Eee Pad also features a webcam and a USB port. The MSRP for the ASUS Eee Pad will range from $399 to $499.

The ASUS Eee Pad isn’t scheduled to launch until Q1 2011, so there’s not much information given on the specs and features of this device.

Here are the pictures of the two models of the “ASUS Eee Pad”.
